The Patterson Bigfoot Film in High Contrast

This clip is from a somewhat inferior copy of the Patterson Bigfoot film. Even at that with high contrast it yields some marvelous views of the Bigfoot’s back muscles.

  1. Am I the only one seeing a “moving” face on the back? Could be a tattoo or some painting applied to the skin which “moves” when the muscles move hinting to some sort of “primitive” bigfoot culture.

Wow, this keeps getting more interesting each and every day! Thanks Mr Davis for everything!

  2. Hi Mr Davis,
Technology and are are acquaintances at best so apologies if the message is a repeat.

I just found your posts on YouTube and found them fascinating. I just watched a TV show on the Patterson film and wanted to know more.

It does not seem possible to me the the creature in the film is a fake. I site that “Planet of the Apes” while wildly imaginative and top of the line for its time, the costumes do not approach the level of detail needed to create/hoax the Bluff Creek film. In 1969 Kubrick did a much better job for “2001: A Space Oddesy” but what “sells” those hominids is that mimes are doing the acting not an average Joe. It is also unlikely that Patterson and others would have known about compliant gait and could not have faked it.

Great work I hope to see more.

    Respectfully,
